All at sea? OK, here’s the lowdown…
Ruby Redfort: secret agent, genius, code-cracker and… thirteen-year-old kid. She’s super smart, super cool and not afraid of the water or anything swimming around in it.

SHARKS? They’re just large fish going about their shark business.
CUT-THROAT PIRATES? Give me a break.
A GIANT TENTACLED SEA MONSTER? You’ve got to be kidding, buster.

No, the ocean’s no problem so long as you can… hold your breath for more than 61 seconds! Yikes! Diving without oxygen is NOT Ruby’s strong suit. Can she do it? Looks like for once, Ruby Redfort might just be out of her depth – and ALL out of air…

‘Don’t worry, Redfort,’ said the dive instructor, chuckling. ‘It’s highly unlikely the sharks will want to snack on you – far too small.’ 

‘On the other hand,’ said one of Ruby’s fellow trainees, ‘maybe the kid’s the perfect bite-size portion.’

‘Funny, really funny,’ said Ruby. She pulled down her mask and fell backwards off the boat. Ruby Redfort was not scared of sharks – not yet, anyway…
